桂花子【通用名称】桂花子【其他名称】桂花子 (《江苏药材志》) 【异名】桂花树子、四季桂子(《江苏药材志》)。 【来源】为木犀科植物木犀的干燥果实。植物形态详"桂花"条。 【采集】4～5月果实将成熟时采收，用温水浸泡后，晒干。 【药材】干燥果实呈长卵形或椭圆形，长1.5～2厘米，直径7～9毫米；表面棕色或紫棕色，有隆起的不规则网状皱纹；基部有果柄痕，有时可见细果柄及皿状宿萼。外果皮菲薄，易脱落，露出淡黄棕色的果核，其表面具不规则的纵沟纹；内果皮带韧性，易剥开，通常含种子1枚(另一胚珠一般不发育，偶有含种子2枚的)。种子呈长卵形，长1.2～1.5厘米，直径约5毫米，灰棕色，有略凹下的棕色脉纹，腹面附有长卵形薄膜状中隔；胚乳坚硬肥厚，黄白色，富油质，胚细长，微有香气。种子味苦。以身干、子粒饱满、色橙黄、不霉者佳。 主产江苏。 【化学成分】含脂肪油，出油率达11.9%。 【性味】《江苏药材志》："甘辛，温。" 【功用主治】①《植物名实图考长编》："治心痛。" ②《江苏药材志》："暖胃，平肝，益肾，散寒，止哕。民间用作止痛剂，治肝胃气痛。" 【用法与用量】内服：煎汤，2～4钱。
