葡萄砧木育种(breeding for grape rootstock)  葡萄砧木育种(breeding for grape rootstock) 研究葡萄属植物的遗传变异,培育葡萄优良砧木的一门科学技术。 为培育不同目标的葡萄砧木,可资利用的葡萄资源极为丰富。其中,抗根瘤蚜的有圆叶葡萄、河岸葡萄、沙地葡萄、冬葡萄(V.berlandieri Planch.);插条生根容易的有欧亚洲种葡萄、河岸葡萄、沙地葡萄和美洲葡萄等;抗旱的有沙地葡萄、冬葡萄(V.brelandieri Planch.)、霜葡萄(V.Cordifolia Michaux)、甜山葡萄(V.monticola Buckley)、夏葡萄(V.aestivalis Michaux)、蓝叶葡萄(V.bicolor Le Conte);抗寒的有山葡萄(V.amurensis Rupr.)、美洲葡萄、河岸葡萄;抗涝的有美洲葡萄、刺葡萄(V.davidii Foex.)等。 实生选种着重利用天然的葡萄资源,从中筛选出符合需要的砧木来,例如里奇(D.Ridge)和格里克(S.Creck)从山平葡萄(V.Champini Planch.)和窦恩氏葡萄(V.doaniana Munson)中选出两个抗线虫的砧木。中国吉林、黑龙江等省选用山葡萄作抗寒砧木。杂交育种。利用杂交方法已经育成很多的葡萄砧木。其中,用欧洲葡萄沙斯拉×冬葡萄育成41B砧木;用冬葡萄和沙地葡萄的株系间杂交育成了耐石灰质土壤的99砧。
