地质填图 在野外实地观察研究的基础上,按一定比例尺将各种地质体和地质现象填绘在地理底图上而构成地质图的工作过程。简称填图。是区域地质调查的一项基本工作,也是研究区域地质矿产情况的一种重要方法。地质填图的基本工作程序大致如下: ① 全面收集和研究有关填图区域已有的地质资料,通过实地踏勘,有时还需要进行航空和卫星相片的地质解释(见遥感地质),选择和实际测制具有代表性的地质剖面(见地质编录),以了解和掌握填图区域的基本地质情况,并根据任务的要求和比例尺的大小,确定填图单位。将地层、岩体等地质体按其野外标志(如层面、界线)划分为不同的岩层、岩体或岩性组合(岩性段、岩相带)作为野外地质图上能够反映填图区地质特征的基本组成单位。填图单位的粗细取决于填图的比例尺,比例尺越大,填图单位划分越细,有时可相当于地层的一个"统"或"阶",或为其一部分。 ② 根据所布置的路线,进行野外实地填图。填图路线的布置以能够控制地质体的边界线为准则,其疏密程度取决于地质调查比例尺的大小和填图区的地质地貌情况的复杂程度。填图路线的确定一般有两种方法:一是大致垂直于(横穿)填图区的岩层和构造线的走向布置路线,称为穿越法;二是沿各地质体界线或对其他地质现象进行追索观察,称为追索法。在野外填图过程中一般以穿越法为主,并辅以追索法。将各条填图路线中的各观察点,根据所观测到的内容(如岩性)的相似性、地质体产状及区域地质构造现象等,并按所确定的填图单位,合理地互相连接起来便圈绘出了填图区域内的地质体和地质现象,形成了野外地质图(原始地质草图)。 ③ 室内综合整理工作。在填图过程中所使用的地形底图比例尺一般比要求完成的地质图的比例尺大 1倍。因此,野外填绘的原始地质草图必须经过缩制转绘,并进行各野外图幅之间地质界线的合理衔接,根据要求补充和完善图面内容,才能形成一份完整的地质图。
