大气化学大气化学atmosphericchemistry研究大气组成和大气化学过程的学科。大气科学的一个分支。主要研究地球和行星大气本身及其中悬浮物的各种化学成分、结构形成、输运、扩散、积累、转化的机制和变化规律,以及呈现出的现象。由于工业化的飞速发展,人造化学品的急剧增加,使大气的自然化学循环受到影响,因而由污染引起的大气化学问题日益受到重视。如低层大气中酸性降水形成的化学过程,平流层臭氧的生成和破坏,气溶胶的物理化学特性及其在大气中的化学行为等都是大气化学研究的重要课题。大气化学的研究方法主要有现场观测,实验室测试分析(如应用各种仪器设备分析气溶胶、降水中的各种化学成分等),大气化学反应的模拟试验(如用烟雾箱模拟大气光化学烟雾形成的过程等)以及数值模拟试验(如利用计算机技术模拟各种条件下的化学反应的过程及结果)等。云雾物理、大气气溶胶、行星大气、气候变迁、生物气象、农业气象等研究领域均与大气化学有密切的关系。
