碳酸岩碳酸岩carbonatite一类主要由碳酸盐矿物组成的火成岩。矿物成分复杂,已发现180多种,其中最常见的方解石、白云石、菱镁矿等碳酸盐矿物约占80%,其次为碱性长石、辉石、黑云母、磷灰石、橄榄石等。常见有某种独特的矿物共生关系:①高温矿物(钙钛矿、独居石)与低温矿物(重晶石、天青石等)共生。②硅质矿物与硅不饱和矿物共生(如石英-橄榄石、石英-霞石等)。主要类型有黑云碳酸岩、方解石碳酸岩、白云石碳酸岩等。在成因和空间上,常与超基性-碱性岩系列的岩石关系密切,组成超基性-碱性-碳酸岩杂岩体。碳酸岩多分布在杂岩体的中心,呈岩筒状或放射状岩脉产出。在区域上,这类杂岩主要分布在地壳构造运动稳定的地区,沿深大断裂带分布。其成因有多种观点:由超基性岩浆分异形成;由富含CO2的热液交代超基性、碱性岩石形成;由石灰岩经花岗岩化而来;是碱性-超基性岩进一步霓石化、霞石化的结果。中国碳酸岩有火山沉积成因和岩浆贯入成因两种类型。
