风暴岩 在风暴影响下在海洋和水盆地中形成的沉积岩。过去所称的浪成浊积岩实属风暴岩。风暴岩是一种密度流沉积,但常含很多风浪破坏下伏的正常天气沉积物所产生的撕裂片或内碎屑,还有被破坏的生物碎屑等。海洋中飓风等风暴可掀起涌浪,造成大片海面升高,海水流速增大,波浪传播加深;近岸的风暴潮常比正常高潮高出数米,潮差可比一般的大潮差大一倍多;波浪传播的深度常达几十米以上,远远超过好天气的正常浪基面的深度,甚至还导致近200米深的外陆棚的底流。风暴潮退潮可产生向海密度流,携有陆棚边缘的沉积物质,至潮下或陆棚上形成粒级递变层或在浅处形成发育丘状洼状等交错层理等的沉积层。 风暴作用特点为不但有高速流动,还有强的往复运动,方向时常改变,或有旋卷,而能量则在不太长时间内很快衰减。所以,风暴作用常将底部细物质簸出,常使风暴流形成密度流,在风暴衰减期迅速沉积。早期风暴作用对下伏沉积有侵蚀作用,形成侵蚀基底面,有冲蚀和侵蚀坑,形成充填构造。同时还可挖掘出浅埋藏物质,尤其生物体,使用底部物质混合,并形成混杂的生物组合。底部的大和重的个体生物在风暴作用中还可聚集成滞留层。常见的风暴岩如风暴介壳岩,含大部分破碎和少量完整的介壳,形成介壳灰岩,介壳砂岩,介壳粉砂岩等。多腕足类,双壳类,软体动物和海百合茎等化石,常具混杂的特征。组成的岩层厚几毫米到几厘米,或达十多米,常呈透镜状、口袋状。多位于侵蚀硬底上。常有寒武系的层内钙质砾岩,或称砾屑灰岩,竹叶状灰岩等。其刚性扁平内碎屑常呈杂乱状或涡卷状排列,无一定方位,表明受强烈振荡水流影响。 参考书目 G.
