坳拉谷 裂谷构造的一种。呈长条形,有很长的演化历史,与裂谷的区别通常是条形的一端开放而另一端收缩尖灭。又称坳拉槽。 坳拉谷最先由前苏联地质学家Н.С.沙茨基提出。用来描述指以正断层为边界的长期发育的一种沟槽状构造,大多位于克拉通边缘的内凹处,而向地台内纵深方向逐渐尖灭消失,也有向地台内部的台向斜状的大盆地方向开放,谷内为弱变形不变质岩层,其厚度常比外围的地台同时代盖层厚几倍,属克拉通区内一种具特征性的构造单元。中国华北克拉通区的中晚元古庙的燕辽坳拉谷、中条坳拉谷具这类构造的典型特征。 成因 板块构造学认为,坳拉谷是大陆崩裂洋盆开启演化史中的一个阶段性构造类型,它一端向大洋开放,而另一端则消失在板内。其形成机制通常有2种:①大陆岩石圈受地幔柱(见热点和地幔柱)热的影响,使上覆岩石圈板块局部隆起并出现三叉的破裂,沿三叉的3个走向侵入碱性玄武岩类岩浆而形成基性岩墙群,并逐渐发展为三联点。其中二支最后形成洋盆,而另一支中止发育,遗留为向洋盆开放的夭折支,就成为坳拉谷。克拉通区内有镁铁质岩墙群集中发育带,常被认为是大陆崩裂最初始的先兆特征,但后继未发展成坳拉谷构造。②陆壳内由大型剪切带把先存的拉伸破裂错开,遂分别成为独立的坳拉谷型构造。此外,陆块在构造作用下不均匀开裂分离,也可形成一端开放型的坳拉谷。还有,从洋盆开启到造山作用结束,坳拉谷既可与洋盆初始期的开裂同时发育形成,也可在板块俯冲或碰撞作用下在陆缘区发育形成,出现在碰撞造山带的前陆或后陆区内冲撞作用造成的以磨拉石为主的横向裂谷构造。从陆壳演化史分析,坳拉谷可因构造作用而重新活动。 建造特征 坳拉谷内充填有特征性的岩石建造,它在原来的地台盖层环境中开始发育,其中先为大量碱性基性火山岩堆积,然后是红色粗碎屑砂砾岩、长石砂岩,再上为页岩、泥质岩,而巨厚碳酸盐岩,可夹膏盐沉积。这类坳拉谷建造在坳拉谷构造向洋盆开放的一端,常与洋盆延伸并有可与之对比的岩石建造。 由于坳拉谷构造演化的特殊性和特有的岩石建造类型,在板块构造理论和寻找石油天然气藏和层控矿床方面都有重要意义。
