云南晋宁梅树村界线层型剖面 中国震旦系-寒武系界线层型剖面、下寒武统梅树村阶的建阶层型剖面，也是全球前寒武系-寒武系界线层型剖面和界线点。位于北纬24°44＇,东经102°34＇，昆明市滇池西南侧梅树村西北约1.5公里处,属香条冲背斜的南翼。剖面分段于梅树村西北的团山顶、小歪头山及八道湾，近东西走向，长约12公里，依次出露上震旦统的东龙潭组、上震旦统和下寒武统的渔户村组和下寒武统的筇竹寺组等地层，共3组7段（见表）,总厚度达632米。震旦系-寒武系界线位于小歪头山段下部距地面 0.8米处开始，出现最低小壳化石组合的地方。整个地层构造连续，层次清晰鲜明，具有目前世界上原始的小壳化石和地球史中最早的带壳化石动物群。 梅树村地区的震旦系与寒武系界线上下地层具有以下特点：①沉积物以碳酸盐、磷酸盐为主；②滨线构造发育，波浪、斜层理、青鱼刺状斜层理等较常见。浅水结构明显，发育同生砾状、砂状、鲕状、生物碎屑等结构及磷质叠层石；③生物化石丰富，以小壳化石及遗迹化石为特征。 中国学者测定寒武系底界年龄为距今5.63亿年。
