宁陕大熊猫自然保护区宁陕大熊猫自然保护区地处宁陕县境内,创立于2001年. 是以保护大熊猫及其栖息地为主要目的的野生动物自然保护区.这里千峰竞秀,万壑争流,异兽奔欢,百家齐鸣.总面积26732公顷,象一块绿色的宝石镶嵌在秦岭中段南坡.加强保护 让资源为大熊猫所用宁陕县地处秦岭中段南麓,属北亚热带湿润型气候,是我国南北气候的过渡带,长江、黄河水系的分水岭,森林覆盖率达86%。保护区内有种子植物1178种,其中国家重点保护野生植物有红豆杉、秦岭冷杉等27种;保护区有竹林6287公顷,为大熊猫提供了丰富的食物;保护区内栖息有陆生野生动物273种,国家重点保护的有大熊猫、金丝猴、羚牛、林麝、斑羚、天鹅等33种,宁陕已成为国宝大熊猫的生活乐园。为了加大保护区的管护力度,宁陕县在人员紧张的情况下,从林业系统抽调精兵强将组建皇冠、新场、四亩地三个大熊猫保护站,配备9名管理人员,并聘请村组护林员30名,专门从事大熊猫保护管理工作。由世界自然基金会资助、东北林业大学野生动物资源学院负责培养的7名具有大专学历的野生动植物保护管理人员已经毕业,其中3名已充实到大熊猫保护区工作,加强了保护区的保护管理工作。大力宣传 为大熊猫营造美好家园 为给大熊猫营造一个安全宁静的家园,安康市政府利用广播、电视、报纸等媒体,大力宣传保护大熊猫的重要性,他们还用宣传车,在每年“爱鸟周”和“野生动物宣传月”活动中,广泛进行野生动植物保护法律、法规的宣传教育;举办“保护大熊猫,保护野生动物”图片展览;印刷野生动物动宣传标语,张贴保护野生动物通告,制作《关于加强大熊猫自然保护区管理的通告》永久性宣传铁牌150块。在自然保护区的醒目位置,竖立50平方米的大型宣传牌。通过宣传,使广大干部、群众热爱大熊猫、爱护大自然的热潮空前高涨。为确保大熊猫自然保护区野生动植物资源的安全,改善大熊猫的栖息环境,宁陕县人民政府于2002年9月10日成立了《宁陕县野生动物保护工作领导小组》,并下发了《关于开展保护野生动物专项治理实施方案》,由林业、公安、工商等部门参加,共开展了4次大规模的野生动物专项治理,查处无证非法经营野生动物7户,捣毁非法出售猎具窝点3个,没收铁夹300余个,收缴野生动物制品40公斤,行政处罚7人,清理整顿养殖场和经营户22户,取缔养殖场6个,取缔经营户5个,规范了野生动物市场管理,消除了保护大熊猫工作的隐患。为加强了大熊猫食物资源的保护,宁峡县政府于2001年5月14日下发了《关于禁止在大熊猫活动区采割杂竹》的通知,制止乱砍滥伐和割竹挖笋行为,以保护大熊猫的栖息地和食物来源,并主动协调周边省属宁东、宁西林业局,加强了国有林区的大熊猫保护管理工作。与此同时,宁陕大熊猫保护区,时刻把抢救伤病野生动物作为首要任务。自保护区成立以来,共抢救国家一、二级保护野生动物大熊猫、金丝猴、羚牛、林麝、黑熊等10只。2001年6月11日,宁陕县人民政府下发《关于对发现大熊猫实体的陈冬学同志给予表彰奖励的通报》。通报发出以后,引起了极大的反响,也增强了广大干部群众爱护珍稀野生动物的意识,对大熊猫的保护起到了至关重要的作用。
