颈总动脉结扎颈总动脉结扎ligation of common carotid artery 是颅内动脉瘤的间接手术治疗，目的在于降低脑动脉内的压力，减少血流对动脉瘤壁的冲击，防止动脉瘤的继续扩大与破裂，促使血栓形成而自愈。间接手术适用于海绵窦内动脉瘤、颅内颈内动脉主干上的动脉瘤，但对远离Willis动脉环的动脉瘤不适用。术前必须对患者能否耐受结扎作测定。颈总动脉结扎较简便安全，因有颈外动脉逆流血供，故颈内动脉远端的血压降低不明显，疗效不很理想。颈部动脉结扎分急性结扎与慢性结扎两种。
