莫法特铁路隧道  位于美国丹佛至盐湖城的铁路线上,在科罗拉多州境内温特帕克附近穿越落基山脉詹姆斯峰的单线隧道。这座隧道是银行家D.H.莫法特发起修建的,因而得名。    莫法特铁路隧道于1923年开工,1927年竣工,长约10公里。隧道在直线线路上,隧道内线路坡度自东向西为+3‰、-9‰,海拔为2815米,埋深约1220米。隧道穿过花岗岩、片麻岩、片岩等地层。隧道施工用中央导坑法,开挖隧道时采用的平行辅助导坑(在正洞南面中心线间距离约23米),对排除大量涌水起到显著的作用。隧道建成后,在平行导坑中敷设管道,向丹佛城供水。运营通风系统及帘幕设于高洞口处。1934年接建60公里连络线后,使丹佛和盐湖城间铁路交通,可不必经普韦布洛绕行,从而缩短路程282公里。
