菱苦土分子式:CAS号:性质:镁质胶凝材料。主要成分是MgO,由菱镁矿在600~800℃的温度下煅烧后磨细而成。菱苦土不能用水拌和,可用氯化镁(MgCl2·6H2O)、硫酸镁(MgSO4·7H2O)、氯化铁(FeCl3)等盐类溶液作拌和剂。其中以氯化镁为最好,拌和后凝结快,硬化后强度高,称为氯镁水泥。但该制品吸湿性大,抗水性差,吸湿后容易变形。为了提高其抗水性,可加入一定量的硫酸亚铁或磷酸、磷酸盐,或加入磨细的黏土砖粉、粉煤灰、沸石凝灰岩等。菱苦土碱性较弱,对有机物无腐蚀性。其制品在硬化过程中体积稍有膨胀而不产生收缩裂缝;配以竹筋、苇筋制成混凝土,有较好的抗裂性能;也可以胶结木屑、刨花等制成板材,代替木材制作家具、地板、墙体材料;加入泡沫剂或轻质骨料,可制保温材料。
