永生【永生】 (术语)谓涅槃也。涅槃为不生之法,故不灭。取不灭之义,而曰永生。又谓弥陀之净土。生于净土,则悉为无量寿,故曰永生。问:既有生,何无灭?答曰:净土之生,生即无生也,生已,即证无生之理故,永生不灭也。无量寿经下曰:“度世长寿泥洹之道。”又曰:“可获极长生寿,乐无有极。”观经玄义分曰:“开示长劫之苦因,悟入永生之乐果。”
