精氨酸酶分子式:CAS号:性质:系从牛肝中提取。每个分子有四个亚基构成,每个亚基都与M扩离子牢固地结合,分子量120 000。它催化L-精氨酸为尿素和L-鸟氨酸。酶活性单位定义:在pH值9.5,37℃、1min内转换1.0μmol L-精氨酸成为L-鸟氨酸和尿素的酶量为一个活力单位。在有尿素循环(urea cycle)的人和哺乳动物体内才存在精氨酸酶,它的作用是体内尿素从精氨酸上水解下来,并生成L-鸟氨酸,这反应通常发生在肝脏细胞的胞液中。
