全身是宝的紫穗槐紫穗槐又名棉槐,是一种适应性强,用途广、经济价值高、易于繁殖的多年生豆科落叶灌木,也是解决农牧业肥料饲料、乡村开展多种经营、增加收入、改良土壤的优良树种。高肥效高产量的"铁杆绿肥"。据分析,每500公斤紫穗槐嫩枝叶含氮6.6公斤、磷1.5公斤、钾3.9公斤。肥效约等于30多公斤倍。紫穗槐可一种多收,不与粮争地,当年定植秋季每亩收青枝叶5000多公斤,种植2年-3年后,每亩每年可采割1500公斤-2500公斤,足够供三四亩地的肥料。每50公斤鲜茎叶可增产粮食5公斤以上。改良土壤又快又好。紫穗槐叶量大,根瘤菌多,可减轻土壤盐化,增加土壤肥力。每年割条1次-2次,亩割落叶150公斤-300公斤,加上割条的落叶量共达7500多公斤。种植紫穗槐5年或施紫穗槐绿肥2年-3年,地表10厘米土层含盐量下降30%以上。营养丰富的饲料植物。饲料的质量高低取决于含蛋白质的多少。据分析,紫穗槐每500公斤风干叶含蛋白质12.8公斤、粗脂肪15.5公斤、粗纤维5公斤,可溶性无氮浸出物209公斤。粗蛋白的含量为紫花苜蓿的125%。新鲜饲料虽有涩味,但对牛羊的适食性很好,是畜牧养殖业发展的高效饲料植物。(源自:内蒙古林业厅网)
