前导肽分子式:CAS号:性质:又称前导肽。蛋白质分泌是生物界中极其普遍的现象。被分泌的蛋白质在分泌出膜外时其肽链的N端有一段肽结构。几乎所有的分泌的蛋白都含有信号序列。信号序列一般有20~40氨基酸长,在跨膜运输过程中,最终被信号肽酶除去。对原核生物中已知的信号肽分析,可发现有三个保守特点:(1)信号肽的N端有1~3个带正电荷的氨基酸残基;(2)N端的基本氨基酸后有一延伸的14~20个中性氨基酸部分,通常称作疏水中心(hydrophobic core);(3)信号肽切除部位附近的氨基酸有以下特点,可以表示为A-X-B。B紧接着切除位点(processing site)。可以是Ala,Gly或Set;A可以是上述氨基酸,也可以是Leu,Val或Ile。除上述三个基本特点外,许多信号肽的疏水中心区含有1或2个。螺旋不稳定的氨基酸残基如Pro或Gly。
