热休克反应分子式:CAS号:性质:生物对环境骤变所引起的应激反应。在应激状态下诱导合成分子量为32 000的RNA聚合酶σ亚基(称σ32)替代正常状态下分子量为70 000的亚基(称σ70),σ32不能识别正常的轨录起始位点,而阻断正常基因表达,但能识别对温度变化作出反应的一系列热休克基因的转录起始位点。启动其表达,即通过使用不同的σ因子质细胞内参与主要生理生化变化 的一套基因得以表达,由此构成高一级的调节网络,作出综合反应。例如,在大肠杆菌,这一套诱导的热休克基因作为对DNA损伤应急修复(SOS)反应的一部分而发挥作用。
