哲里木盟哲里木盟位于中国内蒙古自治区东部。哲里木系蒙古语,意为马鞍吊带,因清代内札萨克十旗会盟于哲里木山而得名。简称哲盟。东邻吉林省,南接辽宁省,西和西北连赤峰市、锡林郭勒盟、兴安盟。面积5.95万平方千米。1990年人口275.37万,其中蒙古族116.09万,其他少数民族9.89万。辖通辽市,霍林郭勒市、开鲁县、科尔沁左翼中旗、科尔沁左翼后旗、库伦旗、奈曼旗、扎鲁特旗2市、5旗、1县。元代为蒙古部属地。清初为蒙古地区六盟之一。1949年从辽宁省划归内蒙古自治区。1969~1979年曾划归吉林省。土地肥沃,是自治区重要产粮区,被誉为内蒙古粮仓。
