汉代画像石汉代画像石 汉朝是我国历史上一个伟大的朝代。其经济、文化、艺术都比较发达。汉代的图画是汉代艺术的一个重要组成部分，它常常绘制在丝绸、陶器、漆器、墓壁上，也雕刻在石块上。雕刻有画像的石头，考古界即称之为画像石。平阴县画像石墓葬众多。已发现著名的有新屯汉墓群（西汉），孟庄汉墓群（东汉），东阿阿胶厂汉墓等。已发掘的有平阴实验中学晋墓出土的汉代画像石和新屯西汉墓画像石，已运保至县博物馆收藏。其一，平阴实验中学出土的画像石，来源于汉代的祠堂，晋人拆除后改造为墓葬石椁。其内容非常丰富，四周是穿璧纹、菱纹，中间有胡汉战争、神怪故事、历史人物故事、现实生活及其它祥瑞画。胡汉战争的图象在最上层，双方使用不同的武器，穿着不同的服装。汉方士兵用长戟、剑盾、弓箭，身着铠甲、戴冠；胡方也使用弓箭，戴尖顶帽，着武士服。两军对峙前方均为手持兵器和盾牌的步兵；其后为鹿车等；其中一胡人倒地，首级滚落一旁。神语故事有伏羲、女娲等。其它图案有百戏（杂技），掷倒伎、人面连体兽、轺车、辎车、阙、观、娱乐性狩猎、玉兔捣药、抚琴等等不一而足。另一组画像石是从新屯发掘运保来的西汉画像石，为完整的一个石椁墓。除接地的一面外，其余五面用五块石板，凿以铆榫扣结相连，内侧有画像。除车马人物、阙、观外，一条巨龙赫然而上，象征着墓主人生前的英雄形象，但与我们现在所见龙的图案迥异不同。
