泉州后渚宋船  1974年在福建泉州后渚港出土的南宋木船。仅存底部。残长24.2米,残宽9.15米,残深1.98米。复原后总长34.55米,最大船宽9.9米,满载吃水 3米,排水量374.4 吨,是一艘方艄、高尾、尖底的福船类型的海船。船底有龙骨,由两段松木接成,长17.65米,前后两部分向上弯曲。连接龙骨的艏柱用樟木制成,长约4.5米。船壳用杉木制作。底板为双层结构;从船底的弯突处开始,船舷侧板增为三层结构。船板连接严密,综合使用了平接、槽口对切平接、鱼鳞叠接、鱼鳞对接等方法。侧板共厚18厘米,隙缝处以麻、竹茹和桐油灰填塞,再以铁钉钉合。此船有13个舱,各舱中间的隔板厚10~12厘米,与船壳用扁铁和勾钉接合,增加了船舶整体的横向强度,并具有隔水作用。这种船舱称水密隔舱,是中国造船技术上的重大发明。此前虽在唐代内河槽运船上出现过这种做法,但海船采用水密隔舱者,此船为较早且较具体的实例。隔舱板除靠近艏、艉处的两道外,其余都在底部凿有过水眼。过水眼可调剂进入舱内的海水,以维持船体平衡。它本身容易堵住,不影响船的抗沉能力。桅杆虽已不存,但从现有的前桅和中桅的底座看,至少应有3 桅。艉部的舵座显示出,此船装有可升降的舵。船中的货物主要是香料和药物,并发现原来系在货物上的木牌签96件,还有铜钱 504枚,最晚的为宋度宗咸淳七年(1271)所铸。此船可能属于管理宋宗室的南外宗正司所有,沉没的时间约为景炎二年(1274)。
