地表沉陷 由地下采空区顶板的冒落所造成的地面变形。在长期承载过程中,采空区矿柱系统中一些最薄弱部位往往会因风化、地震等作用而首先破坏。局部破坏的累积,最终波及整个系统。一般当矿柱的破坏率超过60%时,采空区顶板就要发生冒落,并或多或少地波及到地表。大范围的采空区顶板冒落通常是突发性的,往往伴随有强烈的气浪冲击,且多引起地表沉陷和张裂,造成地上或井下建筑物的破坏。有时,沉陷中形成的裂缝还可使地表水或地下水大量流入井下,直接威胁采矿工作的安全。如湖南锡矿山南矿就曾多次发生大规模的采空区冒落。最大一次冒落面积达34000平方米,使地表产生急剧的下沉和张裂,最大下沉量达1.075米,下沉范围近96000平方米,致使地表的一些井架和烟囱偏斜和弯曲。通常,地表沉陷的范围大于采空区。沉陷洼地的边界与采空区边界连线的倾角称移动角,是预测沉陷范围的重要数据。除此之外,最大沉陷量和下沉速度也是评价开采沉陷的重要指标,可根据经验公式进行预测。为防止这类沉陷的发生,应在采掘中合理地设计矿柱系统及开采空间的大小,以保证采空区顶板的长期稳定。在可能发生地表沉陷的地区进行建设,应采取结构措施保证建筑物不被破坏。
