新安江新安江钱塘江干流。跨中国安徽、浙江两省。上源称冯村河,出自安徽省休宁县西南六股尖,海拔1626米,流至鹤城。从鹤城流至流口段称大源河,流口至屯溪段称率水,屯溪至浦口段称浙江,又名青溪,浦口至浙江省建德市梅城始称新安江。淳安以上又称徽江,亦称歙港。现以最后河段名称泛指整条河流。新安江全长293千米,流域面积1.16万平方千米。新安江大多穿行在山岭之间,河床比降大,峡谷与险滩衔接,水流湍急。1960年在淳安与建德交界的铜官峡谷建立拦河大坝新安江水电站。以发电为主,兼有防洪、灌溉等效益。1957~1965年建。总装机容量66.25万千瓦,年发电量18.6亿千瓦时。半地下厂房共安装9台机组,其中7.25万千瓦机组5台,7.5万千瓦机组4台。它是中国自行建设的第一座大型水电站。水库总库容220亿立方米,采用混凝土宽缝重力坝,最大坝高达105米。电站控制流域面积约1.05万平方千米,设计灌溉面积7.6万公顷。通过水库调节,除保证下游电站出力外,还可减轻下游建德、桐庐、富阳等城镇和2.01万公顷农田的洪水灾害。坝址以上,水域辽阔,长约150千米,最宽处达10余千米,在面积580平方千米的水域中,有近1600个大小不等的岛屿,星罗棋布,故亦有千岛湖之称。水库四周为葱绿的群山环抱,风景秀丽逸人。新安江风光
