蜈蚣草蜈蚣草Pterisvittata水龙骨目凤尾蕨科凤尾蕨属的一种。根状茎短而直立,密被鳞片。叶簇生,一回羽状;羽片无柄,披针形,羽片顶部边缘有锯齿。孢子囊群生于羽片侧脉顶部的联结脉上,线形;囊群盖由变质的羽片边缘向下反折而成。该种适生于亚洲的热带和亚热带,在中国广布于长江以南各省区,向北达陕西、甘肃和河南南部。常生于路旁、桥边石缝或石灰岩山地,是钙质土或石灰岩的指示植物;民间全草药用,能祛风、杀虫、治疳疮;也可盆栽供观赏。
