水生植被水生植被aquaticvegetation生长在水域中,由水生植物组成的植被类型。水生植物中高等植物种类简单,低等植物繁多。因水质差异可分淡水和咸水两大类。水生植物因其水域条件的相近及水的流动性而有利于广泛的传播,故多广布种,也有世界种。水生植物从水中或水底淤泥中汲取营养,在水中或水上进行光合作用和呼吸作用。按其不同的生态特征可分为沉水、浮水和挺水3类:沉水植物着生于水底,植物没入水面以下,有些仅在开花期将花露出水面,如狐尾藻属等;浮水植物的植物体部分浮于水面,如睡莲等;挺水植物的植物体大部分在水面以上,如水葱等。水生植物的自然分布与水的深度、透明度及水底基质状况密切相关。一般透明度大的浅水,水底多腐殖质的淤泥,水生植物群落组成种类丰富;水深或沙质水底的水域内,水生植物群落分布稀少。在较大的深水池塘或湖泊内从沿岸浅水向中心深处呈现有规律的环带状分布,依次为挺水水生植被带、浮水水生植被带及沉水水生植被带。水生植物不但是优质的饲料,而且水生的浮游藻类是鱼类的饵料来源,并且有净化水体生态环境的重要作用。
