样式主义样式主义Mannerism意大利16世纪中后期的美术流派。代表盛期文艺复兴趋于衰落后出现的追求形式的保守倾向。样式主义一词源出意大利语maniera，兼指艺术风格及生活风度。16世纪20年代以后，一批倾慕米开朗琪罗和拉斐尔的典雅风格而又务求新奇的艺术家，以追求风格自居，遂被后人视为样式主义流派。此词从17世纪起渐含贬义，有装模作样的讥讽意味。1920年以后，西方美术史学界对样式主义重新作了评价，认为它是盛期文艺复兴美术和巴洛克美术之间的自成一格的流派。它虽仿效米开朗琪罗等大师，却只得其形式而失其精神。一般而言，样式主义的作品都注重人体描绘，以裸体为多，但姿态怪异，肌肉表现夸张近于畸形；画题隐晦；布局呈幻想结构，任意发挥透视技巧；用色也光怪陆离，不循自然。但又是袭用文艺复兴成果的基本形式而表现出来的，因此总体仍不失新美术的风貌，只有详加考察才能分辨究竟。代表画家有J.da蓬托尔莫和F.罗索、朱利奥·罗马诺等。
