风速计风速计anemometer测量空气流速的仪器。它的种类较多,气象台站最常用的为风杯风速计,它由3个互成120°固定在支架上的抛物锥空杯组成感应部分,空杯的凹面都顺向一个方向。整个感应部分安装在一根垂直旋转轴上,在风力的作用下,风杯绕轴以正比于风速的转速旋转。另一种旋转式风速计为旋桨式风速计,由一个三叶或四叶螺旋桨组成感应部分,将其安装在一个风向标的前端,使它随时对准风的来向。桨叶绕水平轴以正比于风速的转速旋转。常用的风速计类型还有:利用被加热物体的散热率与风速相关原理制成的热线风速计;利用声波传布速度受风速影响因而增加和减低原理制成的超声波风速表。
