复合材料疲劳性能复合材料疲劳性能fatigue properties of composites 复合材料疲劳性能fatiguePr叩erties。f。omPo-sites复合材料承受交变应力或交变应变的能力。通常以疲劳强度或相应的寿命曲线表征。复合材料的疲劳性能与材料组分、铺层方式、应力状态、作用频率及环境条件等有密切关系。一般认为,在主承力方向有足够的纤维,耐热性或韧性较好的复合材料可得到较高的疲劳强度。复合材料的基体和增强体不同,其疲劳性能可以有较大差异。 复合材料的应力寿命曲线(S一N曲线)大多呈平缓倾斜直线,应力水平下降则寿命次数增加,但没有金属材料的明显平台。因此,在说明复合材料的疲劳强度时,常用经若干交变次数后的疲劳强度值,即条件疲劳极限。 复合材料的疲劳破坏过程是一种不可逆的损伤累积过程。常用材料的某些特性变化,如刚性或强度减弱等来表征疲劳损伤程度。以复合材料变色、发响、脱胶、分层及纤维断裂来描述其损伤产生与扩大。也有用微裂纹的扩散解释损伤引起的材料承载面积缩小和由此引起的疲劳破坏。复合材料疲劳破坏断口常呈不规则交错状,没有某些金属常有的那种光滑疲劳源。对复合材料疲劳性能的研究,有助于对复合材料使用寿命进行预测。常用方法有剩余强度法、特性(E,a)降级法及损伤速率法等。 复合材料有良好的耐疲劳性能,如有较高的疲劳强度,对缺口不那么敏感,阻尼较大及性能可设计性等。因此,这种材料广泛应用于航空、汽车等工业领域。 (周国寅)
