可锻性  金属材料在锻压加工中能承受塑性变形而不破裂的性能,也叫工艺塑性。可锻性指标通常用金属材料在一定塑性变形方式下表面开始出现裂纹时的变形量来表示,这个变形量称为临界变形量。各种锻压加工的变形方式不同,表示可锻性的指标也不同。镦粗以压缩率表示,延伸以延伸率或截面缩小率表示,扭转以扭角表示。    可锻性同许多因素有关,一方面受化学成分、相组成、晶粒大小等内在因素影响;另一方面又受温度、变形方式和速度、材料表面状况和周围环境介质等外部因素影响。在一般情况下,合金元素增加,则变形抗力增高,塑性降低,加工温度范围变窄,因而可锻性降低。材料内部组织均匀,杂质少,第二相不偏聚在晶界,可锻性较高。加工温度和变形速度合适,变形分布均匀,变形为压应力状态,材料表面光洁,可锻性也较高。一般合金钢和高合金钢的可锻性比碳钢差;而纯金属和铝等有色金属的可锻性比较好。
