弹性波弹性波elasticwave应力波的一种,扰动或外力作用引起的应力和应变在弹性介质中传递的形式,并伴有能量传递。弹性波理论比较成熟,广泛应用于地震、地质勘探、工程结构的抗震抗爆、岩土动力学等方面。对于均匀各向同性介质,波在各方向的传播速度都相同。在无限介质中传播的波称为体波。按传播方向和介质质点振动方向之间的关系,体波分为纵波和横波(见波)。此外,还有一类沿着一个弹性介质表面或两个不同弹性介质界面传播的波,称为界面波。若与弹性介质相邻的是稀疏介质(如空气),则界面波称为表面波。界面波的一个特征是,质点扰动振幅随质点离界面距离的增大而迅速衰减,所以界面波只存在于表面或界面附近。常见的界面波有瑞利波、乐甫波等。弹性波在弹性体内传播时,会形成拉压波、弯曲波和剪切波。弹性波绕经障碍物或孔洞时还会发生复杂的衍射现象。现代电子技术的发展,推动了弹性波的实验研究;此外,还发展了弹性波传播问题的数值解法。
