台北故宫博物院图书文献处 中国台湾收藏历史档案和图书资料的机构。地址在台北市士林区外双溪。 1949年国民党将北京故宫博物院、南京中央博物院筹备处保管的部分历史文物、图书资料和档案文献迁运台湾 (见文献馆档案南迁)，其中有档案204箱，约40万件。同年8 月在台中市设立国立故宫中央博物方面联合管理处负责管理、清点，并缮制清册。1962年开始对档案进行编号和编目。1965年11月该处迁至台北市并易名国立故宫博物院，下设书画组管理书画、文献和善本书，并进行研究工作。1968年 7月该院分设器物处、书画处和图书文献处，在图书文献处下又设典藏(善本)、文献、满蒙藏文和图书馆 4单位，分别管理档案和善本书，并对外开放利用。 所藏档案主要是清代宫中档、军机处档、内阁部院档、史馆档和官书等，总计有386440册件，另有满蒙藏等文的书籍与档案。在对其全面整理后，编制了约40万张单份档案卡片，并于1969年后在《故宫季刊》、《故宫学术季刊》陆续发表文章介绍这些档案的状况和专题史料评述。1982年编印出版《故宫博物院清代文献档案总目》，1983年出版《故宫档案述要》，系统介绍所藏档案。图书文献处还陆续编辑出版了康熙、雍正、乾隆、光绪4朝的奏折专辑11册,《旧满洲档》10册、《年羹尧奏折专辑》等专题档案史料汇编。现在已采用缩微复制等现代化技术手段，加强对档案的保护和开发利用。 该处保管的图书主要是北京故宫博物院在抗日战争初期南迁的书籍,仅善本图书就有6万余册。其中有许多极为珍贵的宋元善本书,还有文渊阁《四库全书》、《四库荟要》，都完整无缺。该处编有《故宫博物院善本书目》、《故宫博物院宋本图录》等工具书，并复制了一些宋代、元代版本的书籍。
