化学合成农药化学合成农药是由人工研制合成，并由化学工业生产的一类农药，其中有些是以天然产品中的活性物质作为母体，进行模拟合成或作为模版据以结构改造、研究合成效果更好的类似化合物，这叫仿生合成农药。化学合成农药的分子结构复杂，品种繁多（常用的约300种），生产量大，是现代农药中的主体，其应用范围广，很多品种的药效很高，而且由于它们的主要原料为石油化工产品，资源丰富，产量很大。化学合成农药的发展经历了三个阶段：20世纪50年代中期以前为开创时期，50年代后期至60年代末为发展时期，70年代以后为高效化时期。现阶段化学合成农药的主要特点有二。①高效化。40年代以前防治病虫草的农药每公顷平均用药量高达7～8千克，50～70年代的新一代化学合成农药用药量降低了一个数量级，为0.75～15千克，而70年代以后出现的高效和超高效农药的用药量已降低达150～15克，某些品种已降至15克以下，芸苔索内酯在10-5～10-6毫克／升的浓度下，便对植物显示生理活性。②随着人们对环境要求的提高，农药的管理及登记日趋严格，致使新农药品种出现速度滞缓，部分老品种因毒性或残留等原因而被禁用。化学合成农药发展趋势大致有三个方面：①增加新品种，特别是具有特异性能的新品种；②提高合成农药质量，由低纯度的粗制品向精细化工品方向发展；③更新筛选方法，提高新化合物的命中率。总2。随着科学技术的飞速发展，21世纪的农药应是"生物合理农药"或"环境和谐农药"。
