蝽科蝽科Pentatomidae;stinkbug半翅目的一科。旧称蝽象。此类昆虫有臭腺孔,能分泌臭液,在空气中挥发成臭气,所以又有放屁虫、臭板虫、臭大姐等俗名。中国已知约500种。多数种类植食性。成虫、若虫将针状口器插入嫩枝、幼茎、花果和叶片组织内,吸食汁液,造成植株生长缓滞,枝叶萎缩,甚至花果脱落;小部分种类是肉食性,以鳞翅目、鞘翅目的幼虫和同翅目的成虫与若虫为猎捕对象。蝽类昆虫模式图绿蝽中国常见的种类如稻黑蝽、稻褐蝽、稻绿蝽、稻小赤曼蝽,主要为害水稻;荔蝽、硕蝽、麻皮蝽、茶翅蝽,主要为害果树;菜蝽、短角瓜蝽、细角瓜蝽,主要为害瓜、菜;另外,如蠋蝽、疣蝽、厉蝽等,则以猎捕其他软体昆虫为食。
