雄激素受体雄激素受体  雄激素受体为分子量120000道尔顿的蛋白质,在人体的X染色体的基因指导下合成,与雄激素结合的单聚体(4.4S)在细胞中与受体蛋白及一个产生9S无活性的小分子单聚体结合。睾酮在体内代谢为双氢睾酮后才能与受体接近碳氧端位置结合,激活受体复合物并使其能够与细胞核的DNA受体位点结合,此位点被称为激素效应元件(hormone response element,HRE)或雄激素受体互补核糖核酸。受体活化中,包括大分子复合物的解聚,释放出附属蛋白质,其在DNA结合位置上与4.4S受体结合。此蛋白质区域中有丰富的胱氨酸,并与其他类固醇受体的结合区域具有高度的同族性。受体蛋白的另一区域能活化信息核糖核酸mRNA的转录,指导特异蛋白质的合成及细胞的生长和分化。雄激素与受体结合的部位主要在细胞核。
