天然橡胶天然橡胶naturalrubber从天然产胶植物中制取的橡胶。市售的天然橡胶主要是由三叶橡胶树的乳胶制得。其成分中91％～94％是橡胶烃，其余为蛋白质、脂肪酸、灰分、糖类等非橡胶物质。天然橡胶是应用最广的通用橡胶。采割天然橡胶世界上约有2000种不同的植物可生产类似天然橡胶的聚合物，已从其中500种中得到了不同种类的橡胶，但真正有实用价值的是三叶橡胶树。橡胶树的表面被割开时，树皮内的乳管被割断，胶乳从树上流出。从橡胶树上采集的乳胶，经过稀释后加酸凝固、洗涤，然后压片、干燥、打包，即制得市售的天然橡胶。天然橡胶根据不同的制胶方法可制成烟片、风干胶片、绉片、技术分级橡胶和浓缩橡胶等。天然橡胶的主要特点是：①具有较高的门尼粘度（胶料在模腔内对粘度计转子转动所产生的剪切阻力），在存放过程中增硬，低温存放时容易结晶，在－70℃左右时变成脆性物质。②无一定熔点，加热到130～140℃完全软化，200℃左右开始分解。③具有高弹性，弹性模量约为3～6MPa，弹性伸长率可达1000％。④加工性能好，易于同填料及配合剂混合，而且可与多数合成橡胶并用。⑤为非极性橡胶，在非极性溶剂中膨胀，故耐油、耐溶剂性差。⑥因含大量不饱和双键，化学活性高，易于交联和氧化，耐老化性差。
