银合欢(koa haol)  银合欢(koa haol) 含羞草科银合欢属中的栽培种,学名Leucaena leucocephala (Lam.) de Wit.。又名白合欢。常绿灌木或乔木。可用饲料、绿肥、燃料、木料等。原产于中美洲,分布于热带、亚热带地区。29世纪20年代传入中国,广东、广西、云南福建、台湾等地均有分布。 二回羽状复叶,头状花序,腋生,花白色。荚果扁平、革质,有种子12-25粒。种子褐色,发亮,每千克1.65万-2.64万。 按形态分为3种类型:①夏威夷型;②萨尔瓦多型;③秘鲁型。 适生于30°S-30°N之间,年降雨量900-2600mm,年平均温度20-23℃,最低月平均温度7-17℃的低海拔地区。生长温度以22-30℃为宜。适生pH5-8,最适pH6-7。喜阳,稍耐阴,耐旱,不耐渍。 种皮坚硬,具蜡质,吸水性差,硬籽率90-95%,不易发芽,播前须在80℃热水中浸2分钟,随即晾干,或在浓硫酸中浸13分钟,然后洗净晾干,或用机械擦破种皮。用作饲料时,条播,行距约1m,每公顷播种2-10kg。基肥宜施腐熟有机肥和过磷酸钙,酸性土增施石灰。株高1.5m开始刈割,留茬30cm;在生长季节,每隔60-80天割一次,每年割3-5次。用于改良牧地时,按等高条播,行距8-10m,间种大黍、毛花雀稗(Paspalum dilatatum Poir.)等,或在牧场围栏内划出5%的面积,按行距3.5m条播,供冬、春季放牧。 萨尔瓦多银合欢嫩枝叶是高蛋白质饲料。每公顷年产干物质12-20t,含粗蛋白质18.824.3%,粗纤维23.9-37.7%,富含胡萝卜素和维生素。 银合欢萌芽力强,耐割,养分高,亦是一种优良的绿肥树种。嫩枝叶干物质含氮2.2-4.3%,磷0.2-0.4%,钾1.3-4.0%,钙0.8-2.0%,镁0.4-1.0%。主根深,侧根少,能吸收土壤深层水分和养分,宜作绿肥或荫蔽树。
