抗生素与抗菌药 抗生素是否等于抗菌药?是抗生素包含抗菌药,还是抗菌药包含抗生素?许多行业内人士也说不清楚,那么,到底二者是怎么回事呢? 抗生素和抗菌药都是指一类抑制或杀灭微生物或细菌的药物,在日常生活和临床使用中,这两个名词常被混用,但人严格的专业角度讲,这两个名词是有明显区别的。 抗生素(an-tibiotics)原意是指这样的一种化学物质,它由某种有机体(一般来说是某种微生物)所产生,,在稀释状态下,对别种微生物有抑制或杀灭作用。抗生素依据它们的作用对象以及功能的不同,可分为抗细菌作用、抗病毒作用、抗真菌作用等。比如由青霉菌属所产生的青霉素,以及头孢菌素、链霉素等是抗细菌的抗生素;治疗单纯性疱疹的阿糖腺苷是抗病毒的抗生素药;两性霉素B既有抗原生动物感染的抗生素。 抗菌药(antibacte-rials)是指一类对细菌有抑制或杀灭作用的药物,除部分抗生素外,还包括合成的抗菌素,比如磺胺类、喹诺酮类等。青霉素、链霉素等抗细菌作用的抗生素也是抗菌药。 抗生素和抗菌药都是化疗药品,同属于抗微生物类药(an-timicrobial drugs)或抗感染药(anti-infective drugs)。 抗生素是抗菌药不太恰当的旧称。 虽是如此,国内外都有人认为,如此将抗生素和抗菌药进行严格区分已无多大意义,因为原来来源于微生物的抗生素现在大都来源于人工合成或半合成,因此主张凡是抑制细菌生长繁殖或杀灭细菌的药物都可称之为抗生素或抗菌药,比如不列颠百科辞典就把喹诺酮类列为抗生素(antibiotics)。但早期抗菌药磺胺类一般按习惯仍称为抗菌药,而不称抗生素。 也有人主张,只要母体结构与自然抗生素相近,不论天然、合成还是半合成抗微生物药,都可称为抗生素,否则为非抗生素。(2001.1.1)
