泛化泛化generalization 泛化(generalizatlon)(l)狭义的泛化指条件作用的效果迁移(或转移)到其他反应或刺激物的现象。例如，对500赫兹的纯音已经形成唾液分泌的条件反应的狗，之与换用同强度的400赫兹或600赫兹的纯舟时，它仍会分泌唾液。在这个例一子中，已经形成的条件反应泛化到与原条件刺激不同的其他刺激物。泛化也可表现在反应上。例如，由口头表扬强化的“按时起床”行为，可转移到儿童的自动刷牙、洗脸乃至其他良好行为。刺激物的泛化不限于同一感觉通道对人类来说，对铃声(听觉刺激物)己经形成皮肤电条件反应者，当看见铃或看见“铃”字时，也会条件反射式地产生皮肤电反应。对同的意义的条件作用称作语义条件作用，语义条件反应的泛化是仅见于人类的一种泛化现象，它极大地增进了人类学习的效果。泛化是学习理论中的一个基本原则，因此也是行为治疗的应遵循的一个基本原则。(2)广义的泛化指在人工环境(如治疗室或训练场合)中所获得的学习效果或经验迁移到病人或受训者真实生活情境中的现象。大多数心理治疗是在人工情境中实施的。常常见到一些病人一来到诊所病情立刻减轻，可是回到家里或工作场所症状很快增多、加重。这说明在人工情境中所习得的行为或所获得的治疗效果并不能自然地泛化到真实生活中。心理治疗的主要目的是改进病人在现实生活中的适应能力，故泛化是所有心理治疗必须重视的一个基本问题。为了促进治疗效果的积极迁移或泛化，治疗者在制订治疗计划时就应包括保证泛化的具体措施。例如，刺激情境越接近，习得的反应越容易转移，据此治疗者应使治疗情境尽可能接近病人的实际生活。治疗者也要为病人提供机会并鼓励病人在工作和家庭生活中运用在治疗中习得的技能。家庭作业、角色扮演、内隐的示范和行为演练等，都可促进治疗效果的积极迁移。此外，治疗者的家访和追踪观察，病人父母亲、亲属和同事参一与对病人的治疗，也都可为泛化提供必要的保证，激励病人巩固和扩展治疗效果 (梁宝勇撰金志成审)
