再热器  设置在锅炉内用于将汽轮机高压缸或中压缸的排汽再加热到所要求温度的部件。    作用  为了提高大型发电机组循环热效率,广泛采用中间再热循环。从锅炉过热器出来的主蒸汽在汽轮机高压缸作功后,送到再热器中再加热以提高温度,然后送入汽轮机中压缸继续膨胀作功,称为一次中间再热循环,可相对提高循环效率4~5%。有些大型机组,在中压缸后再次将排汽送回锅炉加热,称为两次中间再热循环,可再相对提高循环效率的2%左右。个别试验机组甚至采用三次中间再热循环。采用再热循环后,锅炉-汽轮机装置的热力系统、结构和运行调节都变得复杂,造价增加,故在100兆瓦以上的发电机组中才采用,通常只采用一次中间再热。    结构和类型  再热器由管子和集箱组成。蒸汽和烟气分别在管内、外流过。按传热方式的不同,再热器可分为对流式和辐射式。对流式再热器布置在对流烟道内;辐射式再热器布置在炉膛内(见过热器)。    工作特点  蒸汽在再热系统中的流动阻力对机组循环热效率影响较大,每增加0.1兆帕阻力,循环热效率就降低0.2~0.3%。因此,常用较大的管子直径(42~60毫米)和较低的蒸汽质量流速〔250~400千克/(米2·秒)或更低〕,以控制再热器本体阻力不超过其进口蒸汽压力的5~7%。再热蒸汽的压力比主蒸汽的低,管内蒸汽对管壁的对流传热较差,所以管壁金属温度较高,需采用较好的耐高温钢,甚至铬镍奥氏体钢。再热蒸汽的温度可以调节(见锅炉汽温调节)。    保护措施  在锅炉启动和事故停机时,再热器中没有蒸汽流过,或者蒸汽流量很小。为了防止再热器超温损坏,除采用耐高温合金钢材料外,还应有保护措施,常用的有:控制锅炉启动速度;将再热器布置在低烟温区域;启动和事故时引入主蒸汽冷却(见汽轮机旁路系统)等。
