水冷壁  敷设在锅炉炉膛内壁、由许多并联管子组成的蒸发受热面。水冷壁的作用是吸收炉膛中高温火焰或烟气的辐射热量,在管内产生蒸汽或热水,并降低炉墙温度,保护炉墙。在大容量锅炉中,炉内火焰温度很高,热辐射的强度很大。锅炉中有40~50%甚至更多的热量由水冷壁所吸收。除少数小容量锅炉外,现代的水管锅炉均以水冷壁作为锅炉中最主要的蒸发受热面。    水冷壁按结构分为光管式和膜式两种。    光管式水冷壁  由一般的锅炉钢管组成(图1)。管子排列越密对炉墙保护效果越好。炉墙广泛采用轻质耐火材料和保温材料。这些材料可以砌成炉墙,也可敷设在水冷壁上成为敷管式炉墙以便于安装。     膜式水冷壁  将鳍片管(或扁钢与光管)相互焊接在一起组成的整块管屏(图2)。它的优点是气密性好;管屏外侧仅需敷以较薄的保温材料,炉膛高温烟气与炉墙不直接接触,有利于防止结渣;管屏可在制造厂成片预制,便于工地安装。    水冷壁材料  一般用碳素钢。锅炉压力在14兆帕以上时也有部分用合金钢的。管子外径:自然循环锅炉一般用51~83毫米;多次强制循环锅炉和直流锅炉一般用22~60毫米。直流锅炉的水冷壁不像自然循环锅炉那样一定是直立式的,也可以是水平围绕或其他形式的。参数高时,尤其在直流锅炉中,为了在炉膛高热负荷区防止传热恶化,常采用内螺纹管或在管内装设扰流子(图3)。
