涌波  明槽急变非定常流中产生的一种水流波动。它是重力波的一种,主要是由惯性力和重力造成的。涌波所到之处会使断面的流量和水位(或水深)发生急剧变化。涌波面高出或低于原水面的空间称为波体,波体的前锋称为波额。这种非定常流的突变特性,使水力要素不再是距离和时间的连续函数,故水力学上又称为不连续波。    涌波按它传到之处的水面涨落情况,可分为涨水涌波(或正涌波)和落水涌波(或负涌波);按传播方向和水流方向的关系可分为顺水涌波和逆水涌波。渠道闸门迅速开启时,闸的下游流量骤然增加,水位迅速上涨形成涨水涌波和顺水涌波,合称顺涨涌波,同时在闸的上游出现落水涌波和逆水涌波,合称逆落涌波。闸门迅速关闭时,下游出现顺落涌波,上游出现逆涨涌波。    涌波在静水中的传播速度,可以下式表示:          式中z为原水深;h为波高;g为重力加速度(见图)。若把涌波看作是若干小波的叠加,则流量每增加ΔQ,即有一波高为Δh的小涌波出现。在涨水涌波情况下,波高h是若干小波之和,任一小波的累积波高都比前面的大Δh,波速也比前面的大Δc。于是,后面水深大于前面水深;后面波速大于前面波速,从而形成陡峭的波额,甚至出现翻滚前进的活动水跃。闻名于世的钱塘江涌潮就是这样形成的,只是因为它是涨潮中出现的涌波,所以叫作涌潮。相反,在落水涌波出现时,水深变浅,后面的小波波速小于前面的,因此波额拉长,波峰不明显。    小型涌波经常出现在水电站下游或感潮河段,往往不被人注意;只有那些灾难性的大型涌波,才会引人注目。海底火山爆发、地震、海岸山崩以及炸弹在水下爆炸等,都会在海洋中激起在水面上行进的巨大波浪。初激的波形可能很不规则,但传播一定距离后,波形变得圆滑,称为孤波(见液体自由表面波)。孤波行进到岸边时,深度变浅,速度变慢,波高增加,形成波额不连续的涌波。巨大的涌波会形成海啸,涌上海岸,侵入陆地,给沿海居民的生命财产造成巨大危害。在水库中出现类似海啸性的涌波,也有极大的危害性。造成水库涌波的主要原因是库岸出现坍塌或滑坡。库岸的小型坍塌是时常发生的,危害性不大;如果出现大型滑坡,上万方至上亿方的滑体以每秒几十米的滑速冲入水库,水体就会被激起巨大的涌波,朝滑体运动方向以排山倒海之势冲向对岸,波高可达数十米乃至上百米。两侧水体也被带动产生次生波。由于库区的形状和水深变化极为复杂,涌波到达岸边的时间也非同时,涌波会爬坡而上,还会发生反射和折射,使整个库区水面出现极为复杂的波动现象。波额到达坝址,可能会翻越坝体,危害坝体和下游。因此,在兴建水库前,对库区可能激起的涌波的因素必须制定防范措施。
