额济纳神树
神树位于达来呼布镇北二十八公里,树高二十七米,直径约四米。三百年前土尔扈特人初来额济纳,胡杨林木密集,其中“神树”巍然耸立挺拔,枝叶繁茂。于是,土尔扈特人怀着崇敬的心情将此树供奉为神树。时至今日,每当牧民途经这里,都要求助神树,希望来年风调雨顺,畜草兴旺。景点门票:10元/人开放时间:全天开放神 树 的 传 说在额济纳旗506万亩的天然林中,生长着一棵被誉为“神树”的胡杨树。这棵“神树”位于达来呼布镇北25公里处。树高27米,主干直径2.07米,胸围6.5米,需6个人手拉手才能合抱。据科学家测定,这棵胡杨树树龄已达880年。相传很久以前,土尔扈特人来到额济纳草原,发现了这棵胡杨树。一日,王爷的夫人打算做一只奶桶,就命工匠锯下树南侧的一根枝干,奶桶做成了,夫人的左脚大拇指却溃烂了,任凭怎样用药,不论如何念经伤口就是不愈,王爷和夫人很是忧愁。后来,来了一个高僧,听到夫人的病情,就来到这棵树下仔细观察,终于发现了胡杨神。就对夫人说:“你锯了神树的左脚指,神仙当然要怪罪了。现在只有大念经文,我佛慈悲,或许可以免灾吧。”于是高僧召集众僧侣,高声念经达七天七夜。说也怪,夫人的脚伤好了。人们都说:“这棵树真的有神呵。”这棵胡杨树成了神树,年年受到祭祀。
