缓释肥料 又称控释肥料,主要是缓释氮肥和含有缓释氮素的复合肥料。在土壤中,缓释肥料能缓慢释放(或缓慢溶解)作物营养元素,故其肥效持久,一次施用能满足作物整个或几个生长季节对养分的需要,减少养分淋失和避免损害作物种籽、幼苗或根系。主要品种有两类:①难溶性缓释氮肥,是在水中的溶解度很小的一类氮肥。它们的养分释放速度,不决定于其溶解度,而决定于它们在土壤微生物作用下的水解速度。尿素与醛类的缩合物是这类缓释氮肥的典型品种,如亚丁基二脲和亚异丁基三脲,是两分子尿素与一分子丁烯醛或异丁烯醛的缩合物,纯品含N32.18%。又如脲醛,是甲醛与尿素合成的具有不同缩合度的链状化合物,一般含N38%。这类脲醛缓释肥料在日本、美国和西欧均有少量生产,大多用作花卉肥料。磷酸镁铵(MgNH4PO4)是一种含磷的缓释氮肥,典型品位规格(以N-P2O5-K2O计)为8-40-0。②涂层(包膜)缓释肥料,用物理方法在速效氮肥的颗粒表面上,涂布憎水成膜物质,如树脂、石蜡、沥青和元素硫等,可在不同程度上控制肥料的渗溶速度。
