煤炭资源煤炭资源coalresources自然界赋存的已查明和推定的富集煤炭的资源。这些资源已证明在经济上有开采价值,或在可预见的时期内有经济价值。已探明的煤炭资源称为煤炭储量。国际上通常把煤炭储量分为预测储量、探明储量和可采储量3类。预测储量是根据地质理论和已获得的地质资料计算得出的储量;探明储量是经过详细勘测,可用现有技术开采的煤量;可采储量是可从探明储量中开采出来的煤量。中国的探明储量则是指经过勘探工作计算出来的全部煤量,其中大部分是勘探程度很低的储量。中国的精查储量大体上相当于国际上的探明储量,约占全国探明储量的30%。德国露天煤开采表:1990年末世界煤炭可采储量据第十一届世界能源会议估计,世界煤炭预测储量为13.6万亿吨,其中对中国预测储量的估计偏低,为14650亿吨。中国1500米深度内的预测储量为32000亿吨。据世界能源委员会发表的《1992年世界能源资源调查》,1990年末世界煤炭可采储量为10391.8亿吨(见表)。中国1991年末煤炭探明储量为9667亿吨,其中山西、内蒙古和陕西分别占27%、21%和16%。聚煤地质时代,世界煤炭探明储量中,石炭纪占41.3%,二叠纪9.9%,白垩纪16.8%,侏罗纪8.1%,第三纪23.6%。中国煤炭储量以侏罗纪和石炭、二叠纪为主。
