椎实螺科椎实螺科Lymnaeidae;pondsnail软体动物门肺螺亚纲基眼目的一科。世界性分布,中国已发现3属。贝壳薄,稍透明,多为右旋,少数左旋。外形呈卵圆形、圆锥形或耳形。常具一个短的螺旋部和一个膨大的体螺层。无厣。头部具有短宽的吻部,触角扁平,宽大,呈三角形。眼位于触角基部隆起处。雌雄同体,卵生。常大量成群栖息于各种静水和暖流水域中,在半咸水、泉水、高原水体中也可见到。为家禽和鱼类的天然饵料,是人类和动物寄生吸虫的中间宿主,间接危害农民和畜类的健康。
