藻菌共生系统藻菌共生系统algal-bacterialsymbioticsystem利用藻类和细菌两类生物之间的生理功能协同作用来净化污水的淡水生态系统。藻类植物通过光合作用利用水中的CO2和NH4+、PO4-3等营养物质,合成自身细胞物质并释放出O2;好氧细菌则利用水中O2对有机污染物进行分解、转化,产生CO2和上述营养物质,以维持藻类的生长繁殖,如此循环往复,实现污水的生物净化作用。藻菌共生系统处理污水的效率取决于太阳能辐射量、温度、污染程度(负荷与毒性)和停留时间等多种因素。W.J.奥斯瓦德等国外学者对该系统进行了许多基础与应用研究。中国长期利用生活污水养鱼,实际上也是一种利用藻菌系统净化污水并回收渔产品的方法。近10多年,中国在不同气候地区开展的氧化塘污水处理技术的应用研究中,对藻菌共生系统也进行了深入的研究工作结果表明该系统不仅能明显去除N、P、有机物,降低BOD(生化需氧量)、COD(化学需氧量)等,而且在控制和净化大肠杆菌、诱变活性物质和病毒方面也同样具有显著效果。
