板式输送机 利用固接在牵引链上的一系列板条在水平或倾斜方向输送物料的输送机。它由驱动机构、张紧装置、牵引链、板条、驱动及改向链轮、机架等部分组成(图1) 。板条的形式依输送物料的不同而异。输送成件物品时采用平板条；输送粒度较大的散状物料时采用带挡边的搭接板条；输送粒度较小的物料时采用带挡边的槽形板条 (图2)。带挡边的槽形板条可增加输送倾角和增大输送能力。一般的板式输送机的输送能力在840米3／时以下，板条宽度在1600毫米以内,输送速度在0.1～0.66米／秒之间。输送距离一般不大：带挡边的板式输送机在地面上工作的可达 300米；在地面下,例如在翻车机下的地坑中工作的有的达到600米。板式输送机可输送沉重的、大块的、磨琢性大的和炽热的物料，在输送的同时还可完成一些生产操作，如烘干、冷却、洗涤等。这种输送机的结构比较复杂，运动部件的质量大，维修不便，成本较高。
