2-巯基乙醇分子式:C2H6OS分子量:78.13CAS号:60-24-2性质:无色透明液体,有特臭。凝固点<100℃,沸点157-158℃(98.9kPa)稍有分解,58℃(2.4kPa),55℃(1.73kPa),相对密度1.1143(20/4℃),折射率1.4996,闪点73℃。易溶于水,乙醇和乙醚等有机溶剂,与苯可以任意比例混溶。粘度(20℃)3.43mPa·s。纯品在空气中分解缓慢,其水溶液在空气中氧化成二硫化物,在碱性和盐酸中易于分解。制备方法:早期采用氯乙醇与硫氢化钠反应制得。环氧乙烷与硫化氢按摩尔比1:3.5配合,以强碱性阴离子交换树脂为催化剂,在42℃左右反应。所得粗品含量约52%,还含少量硫二甘醇(沸点282℃),较易分离获得2-巯基乙醇。用途:作为有机合成中间体,用于农药、医药、染料、照相化学品的生产。在橡胶、纺织、塑料、涂料工业中亦可用作助剂。聚合级高纯巯基乙醇可用作氯乙烯、丙烯腈等的调取剂,以及聚合催化剂、聚合物交联剂、固化剂。该品得到美国食品药物管理局的批准,可用作丙烯腈、苯乙烯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯三元树脂制食品包装用吹塑容器时的添加剂。
