棘胸蛙棘胸蛙Ranaspinosa蛙科蛙属的一种。俗称山鸡、石棱、石坑、谷冻。主要分布于中国华东和华南地区。邻近喜马拉雅山区的国家均有分布。体长80毫米以上。蛙体肥硕,后肢有力,趾间全蹼,适应水栖游泳。雄蛙胸部满布黑色角质刺,前臂极粗壮,内侧3指有发达的锥状婚刺。背面深棕色,有的有不规则浅色斑。体色与所栖息地的颜色相适应。成蛙白天隐藏,夜出活动。5~9月产卵。蝌蚪深棕褐色,尾的肌节背面有3~5个深色斑;体肥、尾长、尾肌发达,游泳能力甚强;蝌蚪可越冬,次年完成变态。棘胸蛙
