脲脲urea分子式H2NCONH2。又称尿素。1773年由尿中提取而得名。1828年F.维勒由氰酸铵加热得到脲:这是第一个从无生命的无机物合成的有机化合物。白色晶体。熔点135℃,相对密度1.3230(20/4℃)。易溶于水和乙醇。强热时分解成氨和二氧化碳。它是哺乳动物体内蛋白质代谢的最终产物。脲与亚硝酸反应,放出氮气和二氧化碳。在许多有机反应中,如重氮化反应,常加脲以除去过量的亚硝酸,因此它是一个亚硝酸捕捉剂。工业中脲是由氨与二氧化碳直接合成。脲是一种优良的化学肥料,也是制造药物和塑料的重要化工原料。
