烟碱烟碱nicotine一种吡啶型生物碱,分子式C10H14N2。俗称尼古丁。存在于烟草属经济植物中。无色挥发性液体,有不愉快臭味,熔点-79℃,沸点246.7℃(745毫米汞柱),相对密度1.0097(20/4℃),比旋光度-169°。可以水蒸气蒸馏。在空气中易变色。易溶于水、乙醇、乙醚、氯仿和石油醚。烟碱能与各种无机酸(如盐酸、硫酸)和有机酸(如酒石酸、苦味酸)生成结晶的单盐和双盐,其中双苦味酸盐的熔点278℃,常用来鉴别烟碱。烟碱与二氧化汞生成结晶形复合物,此反应可用来纯化烟碱。图片烟碱在烟草中含量平均为4%,它在植物中以柠檬酸盐或苹果酸盐形式存在,提取时常以石灰或烧碱处理。工业上常利用制烟的废料以简便的水蒸气蒸馏制得。烟碱对动物和人类有较强毒性,过去曾一度作园艺上的杀虫剂,目前已为较优的农药代替。烟碱经氧化可得烟酸(吡啶-3-羧酸),即抗糙皮病的维生素F。
